Conference: Foucault as Boundary Object
According to Susan Leigh Star, Boundary Objects are objects which are used differently by diverse communities of practice whilst remaining stable enough to maintain their identity across them. In considering Foucault as a boundary object, therefore, this one-day transdisciplinary conference will bring together perspectives from across the University of Sussex to celebrate simultaneously the coherence and the generative capacity of Foucault’s theoretical and methodological contributions as they have moved across and within disciplinary boundaries, theoretical traditions, and methodological approaches.
